APPLICATION
The first step to getting a Babbling Brook Shiloh is to fill out the application. Serious inquiries only. DO NOT fill out this application if you are just shopping around. Fill it out once you’re sure you want a Babbling Brook Shiloh. Applications can be found on the puppy page on the Babbling Brook Shiloh’s website. Once your application is received you will be placed on the waiting list. Please completely fill out the application. By doing this we will get a better sense of what you are looking for in a puppy. This will help us place the perfect puppy in your home. Once I receive your application I will confirm your placement on our list.
VISTING BABBLING BROOK SHILOHS
We welcome prospective puppy buyers to visit us at our home. Come and meet the Babbling Brook Gang. All we ask is that you set up a date and time so we make sure we are at home. I recommend coming to visit us. Get to know us as we want to get to know you. If you can’t visit us we are still interested in getting to know you. Selecting the perfect puppy homes is very important to us. Therefore, we are always available to talk via e-mail or phone.
WATCHING THE PUPPIES GROW
We understand the anxiousness and excitement you will feel while you’re waiting for the day you can bring your puppy home. When puppies are born we will do whatever we can to include you in the dam’s pregnancy and the first eight weeks of the puppy’s lives. Weekly pictures and updates will be posted on the website and we will also send them to you. Please feel free to contact us via e-mail or phone. We are always here to answer any questions that you may have or just chat about the puppies.
PICKING YOUR PUPPY
Puppy choice is based on several things. First, we will work from the top of the list down. The list is based on when applications were completed and deposits were received. Next, your input is important to us. I will be asking everyone for their input as well as reviewing your application information.
TEMPERAMENT TESTING AND LITTER EVALUATION
The main objective is to place a puppy that will be most suited for your home. To determine this, a litter evaluation and temperament test will be given to each puppy at 7 weeks of age. At that time recommendations will be given on what puppy or puppies are best suited for you while keeping in mind your preferences. We strive to get you the puppy of your dreams and will work with you to make that happen. Please remember matching the temperament to the family is very important.
PUPPIES 1ST CHECK UP
We will provide your puppy its first check up with the veterinarian. Your puppy will get a complete examination and receive its first set of shots. For your puppies safety all puppies will be micro-chipped at this time.
PUPPY GIFT PACKAGE
Along with your precious little puppy we will be giving you a nice little gift package with things to make the puppies transition, into its new home, a smooth one. Along with the gift package will be all related paperwork and documentation that you will need.
GETTING YOUR PUPPY
Puppies can go to their forever home at eight weeks of age. We encourage you to pick your puppy up at our home. This way the puppy goes from our family right to your family. If this can’t be done because you live a distance you can fly to Lehigh Valley International Airport and we can meet you there with your puppy. You will be able to fly your puppy back with you as carry on. Lastly, if none of the above methods work for you we can ship your puppy to you. This is at the buyer’s expense and I can get a shipping charge quote for you. We need to know this ahead of time so please e-mail me and let me know you need a quote.
PUPPY CARE
We have entrusted you with this precious puppy’s life because you have committed to giving this puppy a safe and happy home for a lifetime. How you raise your puppy will affect it’s outcome. Therefore, quality care needs to be given to your puppy. Your puppy requires the proper diet, exercise, training, socialization, love and attention. To assist you with providing this quality care we will provide you with information on caring for you puppy. Please follow these guidelines closely as this puppy is a member of your family and should be treated as such.

Along with your puppy Babbling Brook Shilohs will give you lifetime support. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We are always here for you as you are now a Babbling Brook Shiloh family member. We have a yahoo group set up for all Babbling Brook Family members to join. Share stories and information with other families ask questions and post pictures. As I extend Lifetime Support to you I ask that you do the same for me.
